Zwilling Diplôme slicing knife, 240 mm, 9 1/2'', 54205-241

The knife series ZWILLING Diplôme has been developed in cooperation with the world-renowned cooking school "Le Cordon Bleu" for the training of top-chefs. Since first-class cutting tools are a prerequisite for first-class performance in the kitchen, the knife, which is embossed by a Japanese blade cut, meets the highest standards.

Le Cordon Bleu was founded in 1895 and is the world's leading network of culinary arts and gastronomy. Each year, 20,000 students from over 100 different nations are trained. Le Cordon Bleu offers courses in gastronomy, accommodation and tourism from the basic course to the MBA.

STEEL

The blade is made of a professional special steel, Eg used also for razor blades: FC61. FC stands for "fine carbide" - the carbides of this steel are particularly fine and uniformly distributed. The special structure of the steel allows for an extremely fine cut and produces a uniform cutting edge with high initial sharpness and cutting edge.

CUT

The traditional Japanese Honbazuke trigger gives each blade its incomparable sharpness. The two-sided trigger produces a symmetrical cutting edge with a total angle of 20 °.

HANDLE

The ergonomic handle has been developed together with Japanese professional chefs. The three-rivet handle made of plastic is easy to handle and comfortable to work with. The throughput of Erl is a perfect balance.
