Payment questions

1. What payment options do I have?

You can pay per:

2. I run a business located in the EU and want to purchase tax free - how does it work?

If you run a business within the EU and can supply us a EU VAT Nr. you can purchase tax free at "berondi". It is necessary that the shipping and invoice address is the same. Please inform us either before or directly after purchase about your business address and EU VAT number through our >contact form<. After having approved your information we will immediately send you the 19% tax refund to any payment method you chose during checkout.


3. Further details on payment

We reserve the right to make the delivery only against prepayment via transfer in isolated cases.
As long as you make the prepayment , we will grant you 2 % early payment discount on the gross product value of the order.

The invoice amount is to be settled at the time of payment on invoice within 10 days.

If payment is made using a credit card, your credit card account is debited in conjunction with the conclusion of the contract.

4. Is there a minimum order size?

Your order will be taken care of immediately. Most items are on stock and can be delivered right away. Should an item in your order be unavailable, we will inform you immediately and will send you a seperate package with no extra charge as soon as the item arrives at our warehouse. We are continuously working on improving the delivery time. The delivery times cited here are approximate.


2. Does berondi ship to any country in the world?

Yes, we ship to all countries (insured DHL air freight) and you will receive a DHL tracking code as soon as your order is shipped.


3. Does berondi check about the correct address coding?

Yes, each order is processed manually and we check and eventually correct the coding of each delivery address (e.g. order of state / post code / city name) such as for US and Australian customers. Due to our broad experience with global shippings we know about the correct codings for each country.


4. Does berondi ship tax free to all countries outside the EU?

Yes, your purchasing cost will be recalculated automatically while you proceed with your order. You may be charged a local import tax (depending on the destination country).


5. How much is the shipping?

No matter how many or which items you buy, the shipping costs are as follows:

Germany: free
EU countries: 10€ incl. 19% tax
Switzerland: 10€ net
Outside EU countries: 25€ net


6. For deliveries outdside the EU (e.g. Switzerland, Russia, USA, Australia): How do I calculate my total cost?

The prices shown in the berondi shop include 19% German taxes. As soon as you entered your outside-EU-delivery adress, the system reduces the price by the 19% German tax and does only charge this net price. When importing into a non-EU-country usually the local tax is charged (e.g. Switzerland: 8% of the net order value) as well as duty (e.g. Switzerland: ca. 10%, USA: ca. 2%) in your country. For deliveries outside the EU you can therefore calculate like this:
(1) Products value below tax exempt allowance (varies from country to country): Net value + shipping cost = Your total cost
(2) Products value above tax exempt allowance (varies from country to country): Net value (above allowance) + local taxes (for value above allowance) + duty (for value above allowance) + shipping cost = Your total cost

Deliveries to EU countries and Germany
...will not be charged additionally (no duty cost etc.)


7. How do I pay local custom tax (for countries outside the EU)?

You pay the customs fees directly at delivery to DHL.


8. How will your order be sent?

Our products are sent by insured DHL and delivered worldwide. If the destination country is outside the EU, it will be shipped by air freight. Delivery takes place from Monday to Saturday.


9. What happens if the delivery arrives and you are not home?

Delivery takes place from Monday to Saturday. Please be aware that your package will be sent back to us if the shipment is not deliverable after 3 attempts. Therefore please enter an address where another party can accept the delivery on your behalf. Normally DHL leaves a notice in your mailbox informing you that the delivery could not be completed.


10. What happens in case of damage in transit?

Even though your order is carefully packed with the best packing materials, damage in transit can still happen. In that case we either replace your order or refund the purchase price and shipping charge. Each order is fully insured. In the case that your order is damaged on arrival, please lodge an immediate complaint with the company handling the shipment and inform us about the damaged order. In the case you would like to return your order, please inform us per e-mail, fax or telephone. Packages returned without proper postage will not be accepted without prior arrangement.
