Miyabi 4000FC Santoku Knife, 180 mm, 7'', 33957-181 / 1001956
If you would like to discover knife-making with centuries-old traditions, the MIYABI 4000FC knives are the right choice. Like every MIYABI knife, this Santoku is characterized by the perfect combination of beauty and sharpness. Santoku translates as "knife of the three virtues", which refers to the three central areas of application: Cutting meat, fish and vegetables is easy with the 180 mm blade length removed from the hand.
The FRIODUR blade is made from two ice-hardened FC61 steel blades. This means you have a knife of high hardness and resistance, even under heavy loads. The special steel is given its high sharpness and edge retention by the extremely fine Katana-Edge cut. This cut is also found in japanese swords from master craftsmanship.
The mosaic pin sets a noble accent in the impregnated, dimensionally stable Pakka wood handle. At the same time, it is noticeable that the handle and goat are shaped octagonal on the MIYABI 4000FC. This not only has aesthetic reasons: it also benefits from safe, comfortable handling and operates without fatigue.
All MIYABI knives are made in Japan. ZWILLING has its own manufactory in Seki. Here, German engineering art from Solingen and the finest Japanese craftsmanship melt into masterpieces of masterpieces.
