Miyabi 5000MCD 67 (black edition) Gyutoh, 240 mm, 9'', 34401-241 / 1002037
With the Gyutoh knife from the series MIYABI 5000MCD 67 you get an elegant helper in the kitchen. The shimmering floral pattern is unique to each knife and a characteristic feature of Damascus steel. A similar grain can also be found in the handle of smooth polished "Black Maple" wood again, in which the blade merges smoothly and seamlessly. Here a logo pin in the design of a mosaic is embedded as a special eye-catcher. The noble end cap forms the end of the handle.
The blade of this CRYODOR® Damask knife is made of 133 fine layers. They wrap around the core of the blade, which consists of Micro Carbide powder steel MC66. Through a special hardening process, a blade hardness of 66 Rockwell is achieved in its manufacturing process. The excellent sharpness is realised through the traditional Honbazuke process. In this method, the traditional Japanese blade is ground and polished on three different types on both sides.
Therefore with all cutting techniques the knife does not only quickly and accurately slide, but also the hand does not get tired since the handle is made in the proven D-shape. It also has a perfect balance between handle and blade.
- Blade consisting of 133 layers with a core of special powder steel MC66 (MicroCarbide) enables blade hardness up to 66 Rockwell.
- CRYODUR® ice-hardened blades are extremely sharp and have a very good blade flexibility.
- Authentic Japanese-blade profile.
- Handle made of unique "Black Maple" wood in traditional "D" shape for perfect balance, optimum control and tireless cutting.
